Yes, peace is
possible - A unique Christian school in the mountains of northeast Georgia offers hope - and real help. In fact, real help can begin with a phone call to the Director, Charlotte Gresham, at (706) 348-7899. This is a special school for children with so-called "learning differences," which we identify as specialized learners. We teach children diagnosed with:
Our goals are:
We take a very positive approach, based on the attitude that a child's uniqueness is a gift - to the child, to the family, and to the world. This approach, based on the Bible, is fundamental to our teaching strategies for learning differences - which we call our specialized learning plan. We understand that taking a positive approach isn't an easy task for a family to embrace. Every family is doing the best they can with the knowledge they have. It's a big job just to learn about how the specialized learner perceives and processes information. Then there's learning how to help the child with daily, healthy habits and other skills for a happy, functional life. This is a great challenge to the family. To change attitudes, beliefs, and daily actions is an even greater challenge. Yet in an atmosphere of intelligent love, this can certainly come about. At Reach Out Christian School, Inc., we help the whole family. The basic school program includes far more than daily instruction and activities for the child. We educate the entire family. We emphasize family involvement in the education process. Call 706-348-7899 to schedule a visit.Words and pictures can't convey all that this school has to offer. Only a personal visit and tour can give you a full understanding of this school's unique approach, methods, and beautiful mountain environment. For a phone consultation and to arrange a visit, call the Director, Charlotte Gresham, at (706) 348-7899.
